Jeff Weller

Co-CEO / Co-Founder

Jeff Weller is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Lion Real Estate Group, a role he has held since the firm’s launch in 2007. Alongside fellow Co-Founder Mory Barak, Jeff leads transaction sourcing and oversees Lion’s investment portfolio.

He also heads Lion’s capital raising efforts, building relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. To date, Lion has partnered with nearly 500 investors, representing over $800 million in equity investments and commitments. Over several decades, Jeff has led the firm through $2.8 billion of transaction volume across a portfolio of more than 15,000 units.

Jeff brings 25 years of real estate experience to Lion. He began his career at CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield, representing tenants, investors, and landlords in commercial real estate transactions. Prior to Lion, he served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of EPMI and Bayside Communities, which owns 3,097 units and manages an additional 3,500 units on the West Coast.

Jeff serves on the board of Barker Pacific Group and the Folsom Institute. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
